Thonglor Soi 10 — Ekkamai Cut-Through and Its Three Names

Thonglor Soi 10 runs off the middle of Thonglor Road (Sukhumvit 55), and it’s one of the few sois here that cuts all the way through to Ekkamai. That makes it one of the most asked-about addresses in the area — and also, oddly, one of the most confusing to research online.
Here’s everything worth knowing, including the street-name mess that trips up almost everyone.
Where Thonglor Soi 10 is
The soi sits right in the middle of Thonglor Road, in Khlong Tan Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110.
- Enter from Thonglor Road (Sukhumvit 55) — about 12 minutes from BTS Thonglor
- Exits onto the Ekkamai (Sukhumvit 63) side
- It’s a through-road connecting two districts, not a dead-end soi
That through-connection is exactly why the location is busy — and exactly why the naming gets messy.
⚠️ Why the information on this soi contradicts itself: one road, several names
This is the part almost nobody explains, and it’s why your search results don’t agree with each other.
The same physical road changes name along its length:

What that means in practice:
- A venue’s official address may read “Sukhumvit 63” (Ekkamai) even though it physically sits on Thonglor Soi 10 — nobody made a mistake, they just counted from the other end
- You search a place name and get an address in what looks like a different neighborhood — same spot
- Different map providers label the road differently
Rule of thumb: if an address says “Sukhumvit 63” or “Ekkamai 5” but the venue name contains “Thonglor 10”, it’s very likely the same place. Trust the map pin, not the street number.
🚨 Careful: M Thonglor 10 is not on Thonglor Soi 10
Search “Thonglor Soi 10” and half of Google’s first page returns a condo called M Thonglor 10 — which is not located on Thonglor Soi 10.
Thai property review site Think of Living says so plainly: the project “is located on Ekkamai 12, not Soi Thonglor 10 as the project name suggests” — it sits at the mouth of Ekkamai 12, which connects through to Thonglor Soi 10.
Short version: the project borrowed “Thonglor 10” because the roads connect, not because it stands there. If you’re specifically looking for a building on Soi 10, don’t trust the first few results.

Red songthaews (small shared pickups) run the length of Thonglor Road — cheaper than a motorbike taxi but you wait for one. Motorbike taxis queue at the mouth of the soi near Exit 3.

The soi has a scattering of smaller restaurants, cafes and service shops along it — and a short walk or motorbike ride from the Ekkamai end gets you to Donki Mall Thonglor, which is open 24 hours.

A building that genuinely sits on Thonglor Soi 10 — Origin Property’s flagship, completed in 2022, tallest tower 59 floors, with hotel-grade facilities (multi-level pools, onsen, city-view gym, sky lounge).

Who it suits
Thonglor Soi 10 works well if you:
- Want a mid-Thonglor location without sitting on the main road with its traffic and noise
- Use both Thonglor and Ekkamai — the through-connection genuinely saves time
- Work around Sukhumvit–Asok and like having a daytime work cafe and a night-time bar on the same soi
Maybe not for you if: you need to walk to the BTS every day without taking a motorbike taxi — this soi is mid-road, not at the mouth.
